Visit the Falmouth Week/Dinghy Week website at www.falmouthweek.co.uk

We would like to thank all our sponsors for making this week the successful event it is, particularly Henri-Lloyd who are our title sponsor for Falmouth Week for the fourth consecutive year.

Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week 2010 will start on Saturday 7th August with Falmouth Classics. Expect to see 150 of our favourite oldies racing around Falmouth Bay and the Carrick Roads.  This event really draws the crowd.  Both Pendennis and St Mawes Castles will be thronged with spectators.  After racing the crews will return to Royal Cornwall Yacht Club for teas and prize giving.

HL Falmouth Week Regatta and HL Falmouth Dinghy Week will start on Sunday 8th August and run through to Saturday 14th.  The Dinghies will usually have two races each morning in the upper Carrick Roads.  Representatives from Restronguet Sailing Club, our dinghy specialist will be organising this racing.  The other fleets will be divided into two, with the larger boats racing in Falmouth Bay whilst the smaller traditional classes will be racing in the Carrick Road. Approximately 350 will be on the water each day.

Each club hosts one of the days, Sunday Helford, Monday Mylor, Tuesday Restronguet,  Thursday  Royal Cornwall, St Mawes on Friday and finally Flushing on Saturday!  Each club will provide teas for competitors and live entertainment into the early evening.

The second Pendennis Cup will run Monday to Friday - a dozen or more of the world's most beautiful yachts will strut their stuff in the bay.

Wednesday 11th is Falmouth Town’s day and owners not able to sail the whole week due to work commitments will be able to join in with all other entrants for the Falmouth Week Champagne Day races and see if they can win a bottle of bubbly sponsored by Golder Associates. The day ends with the fantastic Red Arrows over the harbour, and fun events in the inner harbour by Custom's House Quay.

PoFSA works closely with the Falmouth Shoreside Committee.  Throughout the week this committee organises an extensive programme of events to suit all tastes and ages in Falmouth Town.
